

This years club trip to brazil will be taking place from August 10-20.
Manhattan Kickers FC is dedicated to bringing year round premier level training to all of our players from the academy through to the travel teams. Each summer, the club organizes an overseas trip to expose our players to soccer in an international environment. On these trips, they get intensive training in professional facilities, play against youth teams from professional clubs and witness top international professional soccer.
This summer the Kickers will be returning to the CBF training facility in Brazil for a week followed by several days in Rio de Janeiro.
The preliminary itinerary is as follows:
Day 1
Evening: depart from New York for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Day 2
Morning: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and transfer via private motorcoach to the CBF National Training Center at Granja Comary in the city of Teresópolis (one hour from Rio de Janeiro)
Afternoon: Check-in, unpack, lunch and Welcome Reception hosted by CBF Officials
Late afternoon: Training session with CBF staff
Evening: Video session
Day 3
Morning: Training session with CBF staff
Afternoon: Training session with CBF staff
Late afternoon: Swimming, game room, relaxation
Evening: Video session
Day 4
Morning: Match at CBF fields vs Brazilian Youth Academy Team (Flamengo, Vasco, Botafogo, Fluminense, Friburguense)
Afternoon: Training session with CBF staff
Evening: Video session – match analysis of morning game

Day 5
Morning: Futsal training at official CBF Futsal Court
Afternoon: Futsal training at official CBF Futsal Court
Late afternoon: Swimming, game room and relaxation
Evening: Video session
Day 6
Morning: Futsal Tournament with Brazilian club teams
Afternoon: Outdoor training session with CBF staff
Evening: Attend professional futsal match (depending on league calender)
Day 7
Morning: Match vs Brazilian Youth Academy Team (Flamengo, Vasco, Botafogo, Fluminense, Friburguense)
Afternoon: Training session with CBF staff
Evening: Game Room Championships
Day 8
Morning: Check-out of CBF. Check-in to hotel in Rio de Janeiro.
Afternoon: Match vs Brazilian Youth Academy Team (Flamengo, Vasco, Botafogo, Fluminense, Friburguense)
Evening: Attend a Copa Sulamericana or Brazilian league match at Maracanã Stadium (depending on league calender)


Day 9
Morning: Visit Flamengo’s Training Center, watch Flamengo professional team train (depending on team schedule)
Afternoon: Tour Corcovado - The Famous Mountaintop Statue of Christ the Redeemer
Late afternoon: Beach soccer training session with professional beach coaches
Evening: Farewell dinner at a local Brazilian Churrascaria restaurant

Day 10
Morning: Beach soccer tournament against youth club beach teams
Afternoon: Hotel check-out
Evening: Departure from Rio de Janeiro
